ECJ deals a blow to Apple over $14 billion tax lawsuit

Apple might have to pay $14 billion in taxes to Ireland after a court order in 2020 was found to have legal errors. The European Court of Justice (ECJ) said the EU General Court committed a series of errors in law and must revise its decision. Three years ago, Apple was found not guilty of exploiting a legal loophole that allowed the company to save $14 billion in taxes that were owed in Ireland between 2003 and 2014.
