Google has announced that it will drop support for the physical Wallet Card starting June 30. Any pending transactions made before June 30 will still post to your account." Those looking for alternatives can opt for offerings from American Express or Simple, Google suggests, adding that both offer debit accounts with similar features, including a card. Spigen cases for the Galaxy S7 edge - Video

We were recently able to get our hands on Spigen's Galaxy S7 edge lineup of cases and decided to show you all some of our favorites and no-so-favorites. When the Galaxy Note edge first came out, I had many customers come into the Samsung shop within Best Buy only to become frustrated that Best Buy didn't carry any cases for such a drastically different form factor. A couple of years later, and three edge devices later, Samsung's Galaxy S7 edge is a new generation of unique form factored devices that require a specially designed case. One that would be able to protect your device while...

Microsoft Office now has 1.2 billion users, 340 million mobile app downloads

Microsoft's Build conference has entered its second day today, and the company is busy boasting about the reach of its Office applications. According to Microsoft, there are now 1.2 billion Office users in the world, who spend an average of 3-4 hours per day using the suite. Things are going pretty well for Microsoft's Office 365 subscription service too, with more than 50,000 new small business customers opting for...

Apple releases iOS 9.3.1 to fix crashes caused by tapping links

iOS 9.3 was released to the public on March 21, the same day as Apple's big event where it unveiled the iPhone SE and iPad Pro 9.7 (both of which are now available, by the way). Yet here we are just 10 days later and the company has deemed it necessary to already issue an emergency update for its mobile operating system. iOS 9.3.1 is now rolling out to supported iPhones, iPads, and iPod touch units across the world. Its only function is to fix a very nasty bug that somehow made the cut to the final version of iOS 9.3. This bug will render your Apple device useless after tapping on links in...

Apple iPhone SE and iPad Pro 9.7 now shipping worldwide

Apple iPhone SE and iPad Pro 9.7 went official a few days ago and were made available on pre-order shortly after. While just a few markets participated in the first week of pre-orders, two days ago Apple extended the list by adding many more countries. The first batch of pre-orders was supposed to begin shipping today, and indeed it did. The new iPhone SE and iPad Pro 9.7 are now shipping as promised. Both devices are also available for purchase in Apple Retail Stores while other retailers should be offering them in few days, if not already. The iPhone SE launch, as suggested by the...

Can you guess the smartphone that trumps the Samsung Galaxy S7 in 4K video quality?

We're working on a smartphone review for you, one you're not really expecting, and it's due to be out tomorrow. While examining its camera performance, video quality in particular, we realized we had stumbled upon a true gem, and it couldn't wait - not for another minute, let alone tomorrow. So we figured we'd do an improvised comparison between this phone and the Samsung Galaxy S7. We ran out and shot a video on each. The two videos were captured within 60 seconds of each other, so the test was kept as fair as possible. Below we're showing you a few 1:1 crops from both camcorders and...

Diamond-clad Samsung Gear S2 by de Grisogono will cost $15,000

A couple of weeks ago Samsung announced a heavily blinged up special edition of its latest smartwatch, the Gear S2 by de Grisogono. The Korean wearable maker teamed up with the renowned jewelry company in order to produce a smartwatch that looks more like a piece of jewelry than an electronic device. During the official announcement pricing wasn't revealed, but we did expect it to be through the roof. Well, according to a new report that is just the case. It turns out that the Gear S2 by de Grisogono is set to cost a whopping $15,000 when it becomes available this summer. You'll find it in...

Suppliers say iPhone SE sales probably won't be enough to offset expected Q2 revenue drop

Apple's new reboot of the 4-inch iPhone factor is doing pretty well. The pocket-friendly device has reportedly received 3.4 million registrations in China and is expected to sell between four and five million units in the second fiscal quarter. Its more affordable price point is also serving great in attracting Android converts, so, in a nutshell, the little handset can be considered an overall success. However, industry supply chain sources have warned that the iPhone SE won't manage to overcome the already expected 11% or so decrease in Apple's revenue in Q2 this year. To quote...

Oculus Rift's teardown exposes an easy to fix VR headset

The Oculus Rift orders are shipping now, and the long awaited VR headset is already in use by the most eager fans around the world. As it happens these days, the guys over iFixit were in a hurry to tear down the thing and check out its internals. So, the first and most important conclusion iFixit has drawn is that the Rift is quite easy to repair of something happens to it. Unlike the developer's version, which used a 1080p Galaxy Note 3 display, the retail one uses two separate OLED 90mm pieces behind the two lenses, each with a display of 456ppi. Thanks to those big lenses you are...

New update for the Samsung Gear S2 is now available for download

Last week, Samsung released an update for the Gear S2 smartwatch and now owners of the watch are treated to another one. The latest update weighs in at 20.39 MB and is available from the Samsung Gear app. Sadly, the company didn't update the changelog of the latest update and you can find the same bullet points from the one from a week earlier. We can only guess what changes the new update brings, but it's safe to assume that some bugs needed ironing out and there are no new features this time. A screenshot from the new update shows an old changelog The size of the update also...

iPhone SE teardown shows hardware ranging from iPhone 5 to 6s

The Apple iPhone SE is a 6s in a 5s body, but Chipworks dug into the internals and it turns out the story is more complicated than that. It straddles multiple generations - from the iPhone 5 selfie camera to the iPhone 6s chipset, a whopping four generations. The Apple A9 chipset is brand new and the SK Hynix-made LPDDR4 2GB memory matches the 6s as well. The NFC, audio chips and motion sensor are from that generation as well. The storage appears to be from the 6s as well, but an earlier 19nm chip instead of the 15nm being shipped now. The Qualcomm modem from the earlier iPhone 6 model...

Audiophile-targeted vivo X6S and X6S Plus are now official

Chinese manufacturer vivo has added a pair of new devices to its lineup today. The new handsets come as direct descendants to vivo X6 and X6 Plus and are all but identical on the outside. This is just as well, since the metal shell still looks elegant in silver, gold or pink and reusing the chassis should save some R&D budget, which could be better spent elsewhere. The devices both come with an even better audio hardware than their predecessors. The smaller X6S is equipped with an AKM4375 32-bit DAC, while the bigger X6S Plus has a ES9028 DAC within a YAMAHA YSS-205X audio...

Check out the video below to see exactly how much. What are your favorite Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge torture videos? Source | Via

LG shows the full G5 Jason Statham commercial

After teasing us with a few short trailer of its latest ad campaign for the G5, LG has finally released what looks to be the full version of the video. However, we sincerely hope that this is merely the first episode in a series of videos as it is just so incredibly entertaining. Jason Statham simply knocks this role out of the park, or rather these twenty or so roles, as he plays every character in the thirty second clip. Subway passenger, street performer, restaurant customer, or motorbike stuntman - the British action legend just seems like the perfect and at the same time worst...

Microsoft Edge browser will get native ad-blocking support

At its ongoing Build 2016 conference, Microsoft has confirmed that the next version of its Edge Web browser will include native ad-blocking support. This will make Edge one of the few exiting Web browsers - the list currently includes Opera (developer edition) and Brave - that offer such a feature. Aside from native ad-blocking, there are many other features that the new version will bring along, such as support for extensions and integrated Bing translator. It's worth mentioning that Microsoft Edge currently has a very low market share - the figure stood at around 1.5% in December...

BlackBerry Priv caught running Android Marshmallow in a video

Last we heard about BlackBerry Priv's Marshmallow update, was in January and the word was that the update isn't coming anytime soon - the company had said that roll-out details will be revealed sometime during the ongoing quarter. It's March 31 today, which means the quarter has almost ended, and sadly, there has been no official heads-up from BlackBerry on this front until now. However, here's something that'll surely bring a smile on your face and should reassure that the update is nevertheless coming - a video featuring Marshmallow-powered Priv. There's currently no information...

2016 Nissan PathfinderThe 2016 Nissan Pathfinder is a large three-row crossover SUV. It's a very useful vehicle, with seating for seven. In its latest edition, it's given up on its truck-based SUV...

2016 Nissan GT-R

2016 Nissan GT-R NISMO N-Attack PackageIn its base guise, Nissan's GT-R spins out a very healthy 545 horsepower, and a track-oriented NISMO model cranks that up to 600 hp. The 2016 GT-R ranks as one of the world's top-performing production cars. With a seemingly brutish character that hides a surprising level of capability and accessible performance, it's pretty much a class of one...

2016 Nissan Sentra

2016 Nissan SentraThe 2016 Nissan Sentra has evolved into compact car for buyers who value the features, amenities, and even styling of a mid-size sedan with value-oriented pricing. The trade-off for the Sentra's focus on comfort and livability is lackluster performance. It's not nearly as fun to drive as rivals like the Mazda 3, Ford Focus, and Honda Civic. That...

Samsung tablets will be used in the Portuguese football league for match reports

Mobile devices and sports generally mix quite well, especially when we're talking about sponsorship deals signed by phone and tablet makers with various clubs or national teams. Samsung has however decided to go one step further in Portugal. Samsung tablets will be used in the Portuguese football league to compile and file official match reports. These will be used by the staff of the Portuguese Professional Football League (LPFP), making their jobs much easier through a dedicated app installed on the tablets. Previously, such forms had to be filled out by hand and then faxed over...

Beta Marshmallow build of OxygenOS for OnePlus 2 is now accessible to all, not OTA though

A couple of weeks ago OnePlus started soak testing its update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow for the OnePlus 2 with a few users to check for bugs and whatnot. That test was not an open one, but things have changed now. Starting today you too can download and try a beta build of Marshmallow for the OnePlus 2, namely OxygenOS 3.0. You do need to manually flash it though, because it's not available as an over-the-air update. That's because the Chinese company wants to make sure all possible kinks have been ironed out by the time the OTA rollout starts. The good news is that this build will...

Earlier this month the A2017 was spotted in the GFXBench database sporting a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset and 4GB of RAM. Now those specs have been confirmed by AnTuTu's info screen, along with other hardware details. 2016 Lexus ES

2016 Lexus ES 350The 2016 Lexus ES is a comfort-focused luxury sedan based on Toyota's Avalon architecture. 2016 Lexus RC F

2016 Lexus RC FThe Lexus RC F doesn't have a high-performance sheen built up over decades. Rivals like the BMW M4 have considerable laurels to rest on, in that regard. 2016 Lexus LX

2016 Lexus LX 570The 2016 Lexus LX 570 is in some ways a glorious throwback—to a time when plus-sized luxury SUVs with solid truck underpinnings and big-displacement V-8 engines were a lot more common. The LX 570 is all that, and more. Lexus has over the years made the LX a Range Rover–tackling counterpoint to its flagship LS sedans; and since it's...

2016 Lexus RX

2016 Lexus RX 350 F SportThe Lexus RX is the luxury brand’s best-selling model; and for 2016, it enters its fourth generation with more interior space, a more lavish look and feel, and a suite of new safety-tech features. The look of the 2016 Lexus RX is described as bolder—a bit of a cliche in today’s automotive-design terms, perhaps. Yet...

Microsoft Lumia 650 review: Dress for less

The Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL provided the answer to the platform's fans starved for quality hardware and the complete flagship experience.
