The Samsung Galaxy A3 (2016) has started receiving a new update. Rolling out as firmware version XXU2BPJ1 to units in Europe, the update brings along Android security patch for the month of October. It also bumps the Android OS version to 6.0.1 Marshmallow. Given that the update has just started rolling out, it may take some time for the update notification to pop up on your device's screen.
