MediaTek's latest mid-range mobile chipset is here - well, it's official today. It's called Dimensity 6100+ (if you're old enough this will definitely give you AMD Athlon XP vibes) and it supports Sub-6 5G (no mmWave here). Its CPU has two Cortex-A76 cores and six Cortex-A55 cores. The chipset supports 10-bit 90 Hz or 120 Hz displays, "AI-powered cameras" (up to 108 MP) with "2K" 30fps video capture, and "UltraSave 3.0+ technology" which offers 20% reduced 5G power consumption compared to "competitive solutions", whichever those may be. "Stunning portraits and selfies" are enabled...
