This is what the Samsung Galaxy Buds On look like

Samsung is rumored to be working on a pair of Galaxy Buds with a new clip-on form factor (new for Samsung, that is - this has been done a lot by most of its competitors recently). We once heard they'd be called Galaxy Buds Able, but in the meantime the name Galaxy Buds On has also been circulated, with "Able" alleged to be their codename. We're going to call them Galaxy Buds On for now, and today a new leak shows us what they look like, thanks to some illustrations that are said to originate from an unnamed Samsung app. Samsung Galaxy Buds On illustrations As you can see,...

Samsung Galaxy S26 FE will be more expensive than its predecessor, here's by how much

A few hours ago the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE was certified with support for 45W wired charging just like its predecessor, and now there's a leak telling us how much it will cost in Europe - specifically in France. The base version with 128GB of storage will allegedly go for €799, the model with 256GB of storage will be priced at €899, and the top-end variation with 512GB of storage will cost €1,099. Compared to the Galaxy S25 FE launched last year, the Galaxy S26 FE will thus be €50 more expensive with 128GB of storage, €90 more with 256GB of storage, and a whopping €170 more when you...

It will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset and pack a 10,200mAh battery. The tablet features a 12.1-inch...

Apple Home Hub smart speaker with a display is coming this year, here are its features

According to a new report from Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, Apple is planning to release the Home Hub as early as October, and as late as early next year. Unsurprisingly, the new Siri AI will be its main selling point. This device is basically a HomePod-like smart speaker with a 7-inch display. It will allegedly run an entirely new operating system based on Apple's tvOS, with the interface being a blend of tvOS, watchOS, and iOS. It will contain a grid of icons, widgets, and apps, and it will also have customizable clock faces. Apple fully expects people to buy more than one, and have...

New leak claims the Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro may actually be cheaper than their predecessors

A few days ago a Google exec confirmed that price hikes are coming to the entire Pixel lineup, including the Pixel 11 family which is due to be unveiled on August 12. Today, a usually reliable source has revealed the purported pricing for three of the Pixel 11 models for the UK market, and it's not all bad news. In fact, both the Pixel 11 and the Pixel 11 Pro will actually be cheaper than their predecessors - with a slight catch. The Pixel 11 will start at £879 with 256GB of storage. That's £20 less than the Pixel 10 with the same storage amount launched at, but is of course more expensive...

Samsung Galaxy S27 Pro and S27 Ultra battery capacities leak

A few days ago we heard some new details about the Galaxy S27 family's cameras, and now the same source is back with information about the devices' batteries. It's good news, by the way. The Galaxy S27 Pro will allegedly have a battery with a rated capacity of 5,087 mAh, which will probably be advertised as a typical capacity of 5,200 mAh. Considering that this is a smaller device, that's already quite impressive for Samsung. Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra But wait until you hear about the Galaxy S27 Ultra. This one apparently has a battery with a rated capacity of 5,534 mAh, which will...

Apple releases iOS 26.6 and iPadOS 26.6 with tons of security fixes

Today Apple has released iOS 26.6 and iPadOS 26.6. Both of these come with a whopping 78 security fixes, so it's definitely recommended that you install them as soon as possible. In case you haven't already been notified about the update, you can go to Settings > General > Software Update to manually check for it. It should then be downloaded and installed. Google will let your Pixel phone unlock your Pixel Watch

Google already lets you unlock your phone using a Pixel Watch through the Watch Unlock feature, but now it seems like the company is working on letting you do it the other way around as well. Strings of code found in the latest Connected Phone & Watch app show a "Phone to Watch Unlock" feature. When it launches, this will automatically unlock your Pixel Watch when your paired Pixel phone is unlocked. Unfortunately, this is very likely exclusive to a Pixel phone and Pixel watch pairing. Anyway, once you get it, you will be able to skip entering a PIN or pattern and simply unlock your...

Xiaomi Smart Band 10 Pro review

Introduction, unboxing This is the new Xiaomi Smart Band 10 Pro, which launched globally at the end of May. You can look at it as a successor to the Smart Band 9 Pro (review here), or as its own thing. If you compare the Smart Band 10 Pro to its predecessor, very little has changed. It has the same overall design (though it is a bit lighter and thinner), the same battery (350mAh), and mostly the same display - a 1.74-inch 60Hz unit (but a bit brighter - up to 2,000 nits vs 1,200 nits). Looking at the Smart Band 10 Pro on its own, it's a €75 wearable (it goes up to €100 for the...

Apple wants to save money on the iPhone 18 Pro Max's screen

According to a new rumor out of Korea, Apple is trying to offset some of the higher costs of memory and storage for its upcoming iPhone 18 Pro Max by getting cheaper displays. In fact, its panel suppliers Samsung Display and LG are apparently selling Apple the iPhone 18 Pro Max's screen at an average price of $66.5, which is allegedly almost 20% below what Apple paid for the iPhone 17 Pro Max's screen last year (in the $80 range). Even last year, Apple was getting cheaper displays than the year before that, with the iPhone 16 Pro Max's screen reportedly costing above $100 at times....

Weekly poll results: the Motorola Edge 70 Max could be a hit, if it gets a price cut

Motorola is onto something with the Moto Edge 70 Max – the phone combines a large, high-quality display (6.83” LTPO OLED with 1440p+ resolution, 10-bit colors and 144Hz refresh rate) with a chipset powerful enough to drive it (Snapdragon 8 Gen 5), a large battery to last long streaming or gaming sessions (7,100mAh, 90W wired, 25W wireless charging – with magnets!) and a rugged build (IP69, MIL-STD-810H). However, last week’s poll reveals a flaw with the Max formula – and once you see the €800 / £700 / ₹55,000 price tag (for an 8/256GB phone), it’s easy to guess what it is. Indeed,...

Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra2 in for review

Samsung skipped a Watch Ultra in 2025 in favor of the Classic; now it's the Ultra's turn to shine and the Classic's time to wait. Meet the Galaxy Watch Ultra2, the same wearable but better in the most important way - battery life! Samsung brought the battery up to 800mAh (up from 590mAh, or a 35% increase), which is the most on any Galaxy smartwatch (and pretty big compared to most watches). Samsung says you can get 60 hours out of the bigger battery, which is a lot for a Wear OS smartwatch (and laughable compared to something like the Honor Watch 6's 35 days). As before, you get a...

This week, Samsung unveiled its next generation foldables, which included the first wide foldable for the US market. The company is also launching a pair of new smartwatches. Currently, the foldables and watches are on pre-order – open sales start on August 7. Here are some of the offers we found for the new models. You can check out our hands-on review for a closer look at the Galaxy Z Fold8 (the new wide foldable), the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra (the successor to the Z Fold7) and the Galaxy Z Flip8. Starting with Samsung US, the company no longer offers free storage upgrades. However, there...

Honor Power3 may have aimed too high with its battery capacity

Honor launched the Power2 in January, and then, in May, we heard that the upcoming Power3 would have a battery capacity of 11,000 to 12,000 mAh, while the exact number wasn't decided yet. Today a new rumor from the same source is back to dial down our expectations, unfortunately. According to Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the Honor Power3 will have a battery of at least 10,000 mAh. The Power2 has a 10,080 mAh battery, so its successor may match it or surpass it every so slightly. But it seems like the aim to get to 11,000 mAh or even 12,000 mAh may have been too optimistic. Honor...

Samsung Galaxy F70 Pro pops up on Geekbench with its key specs

The benchmark database reveals that the Samsung Galaxy F70 Pro, bearing model code SM-E476B, is powered by Qualcomm's SM6475 chip, which corresponds to the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC. It consists of two quad-core clusters - one having a maximum clock speed of 1.8GHz and the other having a clock speed of up to 2.4GHz. GPU is likely Adreno 710. Samsung Galaxy F70e The Galaxy F70...

Xiaomi 18 Pro will get a global launch, new rumor claims

Last year the Xiaomi 17 Pro and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max were launched in China and never made it outside of the company’s home country. The situation is changing this year, however, according to a new report. The Xiaomi 18 Pro at least will allegedly be released in markets like Europe, Türkiye, Russia, Taiwan, and Japan. A few days ago a different report claimed that the Xiaomi 18 Pro would also launch in India alongside the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max. Xiaomi 17 Pro Today's rumor says the Xiaomi 18 Pro won't be coming to India, so the situation is still pretty confusing. Today's report also...

Facebook Verified is a new free badge that confirms there's a real person behind an account

Today Meta is launching Facebook Verified. This is a free badge that lets you know there's a real person behind an account. To get the badge, you need to go through a selfie-based verification process. You basically record a selfie video, which the company will check against your existing profile pictures to confirm a match. The process should only take a few minutes. If you get the badge, it will initially appear in Facebook Marketplace, Dating, Groups, and on your profile. In the future, it will also be seen in Feed posts. Obviously, the badge doesn't mean that Facebook "endorses the...

You can now log into your Google account with a selfie video

Google is now letting you log into your account with a selfie video. You of course first need to set this up, by recording an initial selfie video, in which you just look at your device's camera and complete "a few short, guided head movements to capture multiple angles", the company says. After that, you can log into your Google account with a selfie video, for example if you've forgotten your password. Google will compare the new selfie video with the one you recorded when you set up the feature and let you in. You can delete the saved selfie video at any time from your...

Samsung Galaxy S27 and S27+ could get a new main camera

The Samsung Galaxy S27 and Galaxy S27+ are now said to be in testing with a new 50MP main camera using a Sony sensor. This is notable because Samsung makes camera sensors itself, and obviously likes to use them in its own phones. Testing a new sensor this early in the development cycle does not guarantee that it will actually be used, but it's an interesting development nonetheless. The S27 and S27+ are expected to be using the same 12MP ultrawide camera that is in the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+. On the other hand, the S27 Pro and S27 Ultra will apparently be getting a new 50MP...
