Fitbit Air early deliveries are having issues pairing with Android phones

Google unveiled its first screenless fitness tracker, the Fitbit Air, earlier this month, and now reports are coming in from people who pre-ordered it that deliveries are starting. The device's release date is tomorrow, May 26, and pre-orders were supposed to only start arriving then. However, some orders got to the customers sooner, and perhaps as a consequence of this being a day earlier than Google anticipated, people with Android phones are having pairing issues. The Fitbit Air needs version 5.0 of the new Google Health app, but this hasn't reached every device yet. Google has...

Well, "Galaxy Z Fold Wide" won't be the official name of the device. It will be called "Galaxy Z Fold8." As for...

Apple will add Google Cast to iOS 27, new report says

According to a new report from the usually very reliable Mark Gurman over at Bloomberg, Apple is currently working on adding third-party AirPlay alternatives to the upcoming iOS 27, which is going to be unveiled on June 8. So far, the only streaming protocol built right into iOS at the system level is Apple's own AirPlay. However, the company will allegedly add third-party options like Google Cast in iOS 27, and will even let you set these as the default for wirelessly streaming stuff from your iPhone to a speaker or TV. If you're wondering what's happening, the EU is to "blame" for...

Honor 600 vs. 600 Pro

The age-old question - the Pro or the non-Pro? This time it's either the Honor 600 or the Honor 600 Pro. The latter brings a handful of useful features and hardware upgrades over the regular Honor 600, but also adds another €300 to the bill. Sure, you get a more powerful chipset and a telephoto camera, but the vanilla 600 gets you a long way at a much lower cost. It has the same flagship-grade display, same battery capacity, same main camera and supports 80W fast wired charging like the Honor 600 Pro. Still, a comprehensive comparison requires a deeper dive, so let's go look at the data...

Weekly poll results: Sony Xperia 1 VIII might be a hit, despite its high price

The results from last week’s poll have us wondering – do people really love the Sony Xperia 1 VIII so much or do they love phones with 3.5mm headphone jacks and microSD slots and the Xperia happens to be the only flagship to have those features? Because the results are quite positive – nearly a quarter of voters are willing to spend €1,500/£1,400 to get the Mark 8 and that is if they pick up the base 12/256GB unit. The 512GB and 1TB models cost more (€2,000/£1,850 in the case of the 1TB version). Interestingly, the positive vote could have gone higher, but Sony didn’t even launch the...

Yesterday, Xiaomi announced the 17 Max, and today there's already a full teardown / disassembly video on YouTube showing all of its insides, courtesy of the Chinese channel WekiHome. The Xiaomi 17 Max is a rather surprising arrival, since it's the first Max in the company's flagship line. The Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Pro, and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max all came out in China in September, followed by the Xiaomi 17 Ultra in December. Thus, we're five months...

If you're into headphones, then you're no doubt familiar with Sony's WH-1000X series, which is easily one of the most popular wireless over-ear noise-cancelling headphones around.
