According to a report by IDC, Q2 2022 smartphone shipments in India grew about 3% year-over-year but fell 5% compared to Q1 2022. The whole first half of 2022 recorded a 1% decline in overall smartphone sales. IDC outlines the lingering effects of the supply constraints in 2021 as part of the reason along with rising inflation leading to demand contraction.
