Last year's flagship smartphone chipset from Qualcomm was the Snapdragon 820, which arrived in the first half. But then in the second half of 2016 we got the Snapdragon 821, an ever so slight improvement upon the 820. Will the same happen this year to the already ubiquitous Snapdragon 835? A new rumor comes and outright says no today. Apparently there is no 836 in development, so Google's 2017 Pixels simply can't have it inside.
