Google's Allo messaging app is in the process of receiving some new features today. No, it's not getting a web-based client, or SMS support of any kind. Not yet, at least. But it does now feature chat backup capabilities, allowing you to store your past chats locally, in the cloud on Google Drive, or both. Next up, group conversations can be had in incognito mode too. Previously, this was only available for one-on-one chats. Incognito mode enables end-to-end encryption and lets you set an expiry time on your messages.
