Just a couple of days ago, a rumor arose that the company was no longer going to use the "Nexus" name to the upcoming Marlin and Sailfish smartphones that are to be built by HTC. Android Police reports that two independent sources almost confirm that the two aforementioned smartphones will not be named after the previous Nexus models before them. Rather they will be named with Google's Pixel Brand. The Sailfish will carry the name "Pixel" and the 5-and-a-half-inch Marlin device will be called "Pixel XL".
