Samsung's Galaxy S8 will reportedly employ the Exynos 8895 chipset, which is still in development in-house. We've heard this before, but a new rumor today gives us some details about the SoC's GPU. This will be the ARM Mali-G71, in effect the successor to the Mali-T880 used in this year's Exynos 8890. The GPU uses ARM's new Bifrost architecture, which focuses on high-end 4K and VR experiences. So that earlier rumor about the Galaxy S8 sporting an UHD display might actually pan out. The G71 is apparently going to be up to 1.8 times faster than the T880MP12 inside this year's flagship...
