ZTE Grand X Max+ is a 6-inch phablet exclusive to Cricket US

ZTE unveiled an enhanced version of its Grand X Max phablet, this one exclusive to Cricket Mobile where it will cost $200 with no annual contract (monthly plans start at $40). Anyway, the ZTE Grand X Max+ is a large 6" phablet with LTE connectivity and a selfie camera. The 6" screen has 720p resolution (245ppi) and impressively thin bezels. The phone runs Android 4.4 KitKat on a Snapdragon 400 processor (quad Cortex-A7 @ 1.2GHz, Adreno 305) and it has double the RAM of the non-plus version, 2GB. It also packs 16GB of storage, which is expandable by up to 32GB more with a microSD card. ZTE Grand X Max+ The main camera is a 13MP shooter with an LED flash. The back has a Motorola-like carbon fiber pattern. Anyway, on the front is a 5MP camera, which is much better for selfies than the 1MP snapper of the non-plus version of the phone. The ZTE Grand X Max+ measures just 7.87mm thick but weighs a hefty 171.8g. Part of that weight is a beefy 3,200mAh battery that doesn't provide much juice - just 6 hours and 30 minutes of talk time, which sounds strangely low. There's QuickCharge 1.0 to help fill the battery back up faster. Connectivity boasts LTE for fast data access along with Wi-Fi b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0. Dolby tech enhances the sound reproduction for a better movie-watching...
