HTC has announced that it will be updating the HTC One M8 and M7 to Android 5.0 Lollipop within 90 days from now. The company claims to have received the source code from Google and is working on the update. It's rather odd that HTC is receiving the source code now, considering Google is supposed to provide the source code to OEMs in advance as they had promised earlier. Also, HTC made the Nexus 9, so they clearly had access to Lollipop source code before this. Anyway, if you have an M7 or an M8, expect to hear from HTC soon regarding the update.
