It appears that the AT&T exclusivity on the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active is about to come to an end. Live images of a version of the rugged smartphone for the European market made the rounds online. Visually, the EU-spec Samsung Galaxy S5 Active is practically the same as its US sibling. The only noticeable difference between the two is the lack of Galaxy S5 Active moniker and carrier branding on the newcomer. The European version of the smartphone is going to be offered in Titanium Gray and Camo Green. The model number of the device is reportedly going to be SM-G870F. In terms of specs, there will be no difference between the European version of the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active and the US model we reviewed. Key features include Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 SoC, 2GB of RAM, 5.1" 1080p Super AMOLED display, and 16MP ISOCELL camera. Purportedly, Samsung Galaxy S5 Active will cost 629 when it launches in Europe. The leaked price tag falls right in line with past rumors. Source...
